[Event Report] Roundtable Event "The Alliances after Elections: Trump, Starmer and Post-Kishida"

On September 27, 2024, KCS held a closed roundtable discussion entitled "The Alliances after Elections: Trump, Starmer and Post-Kishida" with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

From KCS, our Deputy Directors, Professor Satoru Mori and Professor Michito Tsuruoka, participated in the roundtable event. We welcomed Professor Brendan Simms (University of Cambridge), Associate Professor John Nilsson-Wright (University of Cambridge), and Professor Francis Gavin (Johns Hopkins University), and engaged in discussions on the future of post-election alliance relations among Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom, together with domestic experts.
