[Event Report] The 10th Keio Strategic Forum “A Fact-Based Perspective on Statecraft: A Milestone for Policymakers”

On June 10, 2024, the Center hosted the 10th Keio Strategy Forum “A Fact-Based Perspective on Statecraft: A Milestone for Policymakers.”
We welcomed Takao Ochi, Member of the House of Representatives, as our guest speaker and he discussed Japan’s current standing and future outlook from varying standpoints, including those of policymakers and researchers. He also presented a vision for the future of Japanese society from a historically and spatially broad perspective.
In the subsequent discussion on statecraft, participants exchanged a variety of views regarding more specific challenges, on diplomacy, finance, and leadership development.
