[Event Report] KCS x ROLES Co-hosted Research Meeting: "Report by Philip Shetler-Jones from RUSI"

On September 11, our center and the RCAST Open Laboratory for Emergence Strategies (ROLES) at the University of Tokyo co-hosted a research meeting, inviting Philip Shetler-Jones, Director for the Indo-Pacific Programme at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) in London. During the meeting, an active discussion took place regarding NATO's approach to the Indo-Pacific, taking into account the latest situational developments. Various opinions were exchanged from the strategic perspectives of NATO, Europe, and Japan on a broad range of issues, including the impact of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the potential for a Taiwan contingency.
